In the comedy world, Brooke spent three years on the roster of Amy Poehler's Upright Citizens Brigade and has appeared in comedy festivals all over the country. She is currently based in Sonoma County where she has spent four years as a performer with Transcendence Theatre Company's (Winner - Theatre of the Year 2013 & 2014, Broadway World San Francisco) Broadway Under the Stars in Jack London State Historic Park. Her next films are Stumptown from Pixel Grove Productions (in post-production) and a stoner comedy with Brooke starring opposite Steve Rannazzisi from FX's The League (in post-production).

Off stage/behind the lens, Brooke’s career began at age 13 when - with her family - she founded St. Mary’s School Children’s Theatre in her hometown of Waterbury, CT. Their ventures into theatrical production have now spanned 25 successful years, over 50 productions, and included over 5000 children aged preschool through college, with Brooke serving as either producer, director, choreographer, set designer, lightning designer, or publicist over the years. While studying acting, musical theatre, and design at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she studied lighting design, studied advanced costume design under Tony Award winner Gregg Barnes, assisted Mr. Barnes on the original Broadway production of Side Show and the reimagining of the iconic Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, served as wardrobe supervisor under Tony Award winners Beowulf Boritt and Marcia Milgrom Dodge, and worked in children’s television, handling national publicity for Nickelodeon’s Goosebumps and Lily Tomlin’s The Magic School Bus. During Brooke’s four years on Broadway, she was proud to have personally raised over $90,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, while an original cast member in one Broadway show and later starring in another. Through her work with Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles, she partnered with some up-and-coming filmmakers and comedians, producing the feature film Take Care. Brooke thanks her lucky stars daily to have been brought to Sonoma by Transcendence Theatre Company, having worked onstage and off since 2011 in marketing & publicity, front-of-house management, design & branding, casting, ticket sales, event planning, assistant stage management, community outreach & service, merchandise sales, and arts education. In 2015, Brooke served as artistic director for Sonoma Arts Live, a local theatre company. Brooke is the Executive Producer of Sonoma Laughfest, bringing 100+ comedians from all over the country each year to do a comedy festival and pop-up shows all over the county.

She shares a home in a little gay bear town on the Russian River with her husband - Scott Herrmann, daughter, doggies Fenway and Buddy, and seventeen magical redwoods.
